    Job Title : Security & Identity Engineer – Azure CloudOps

    About the Role :

    We are seeking a highly skilled Security & Identity Engineer to join our Azure CloudOps team. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our cloud infrastructure by designing, implementing, and managing secure identity and access management (IAM) solutions. You will work closely with CloudOps, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access to Azure resources across the organization.

    KeyResponsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and manage Azure EntraID and hybrid identity solutions.
  • Develop and enforce identity governance policies, including role-based access control (RBAC), conditional access, and privileged identity management (PIM).
  • Monitor and respond to identity-related security incidents and alerts.
  • Collaborate with CloudOps and Security teams to integrate IAM best practices into infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Automate identity lifecycle processes using scripting and identity management tools.
  • Conduct regular access reviews, audits, and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA).
  • Maintain and enhance federation and single sign-on (SSO) configurations with third-party applications and services.
  • Stay current with evolving threats, IAM technologies, and Microsoft Azure security features.

    Required Qualifications :

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    3+ years of experience in identity and access management, with a focus on Azure environments.

    Deep understanding of Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, and PIM.

    Experience with identity federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).

    Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation and policy enforcement.

    Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO).

    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a security-first mindset.

    Preferred Qualifications :

    Microsoft Certified : Azure Security Engineer Associate or Identity and Access Administrator Associate.

    Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Defender for Identity, and Microsoft Purview.

    Knowledge of hybrid identity architectures and on-premises AD integration.

    Exposure to Zero Trust security models and identity-centric security strategies.
