They are looking for a sharp, reliable, and experienced Remote Tax & Bookkeeping Specialist to join their team and play a key role in managing client finances with precision and clarity .
The Role
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Bookkeeping & Tax Preparation
- Handle full-cycle bookkeeping for a variety of clients, primarily single-member S-Corps .
- Prepare and file corporate and personal tax returns using ProConnect and QuickBooks Online / Desktop .
- Ensure accurate and timely financial recordkeeping , including transaction categorization and bank reconciliations .
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
Generate and send out monthly financial reports during the first week of every month.Use Excel and Office 365 to create financial summaries and reports.Utilize tools like ChatGPT (or similar AI tools) to craft clear and insightful financial summaries for clients.3. Client Communication & Financial Advisory
Join client calls and video meetings to discuss financial reports and tax strategies.Explain financial data in simple, easy-to-understand language so clients can make informed decisions.Work with charity-referred clients , helping them gain financial clarity and confidence.4. Leadership & Growth Opportunities
Over time, take on more management responsibilities , including overseeing the bookkeeping team.Collaborate with the existing team to improve internal workflows and efficiency .Contribute to a fast-moving firm that values proactive financial management rather than reactive accounting.Ideal Profile
What Makes You a Perfect Fit
QuickBooks Proficiency – Strong experience with QuickBooks Online & Desktop, plus ProConnect.Tax & Bookkeeping Expertise – Ability to handle full-cycle bookkeeping and tax preparation independently.Strong English Communication Skills – Comfortable speaking with clients and explaining financials clearly.Tech-Savvy & Analytical – Skilled in Excel, Office 365, and open to using AI tools like ChatGPT for financial analysis.Proactive & Detail-Oriented – Able to anticipate needs, identify discrepancies, and take initiative.Leadership Potential – Willing to grow into a management role and oversee the bookkeeping team over time.Independent & Remote-Ready – Comfortable working remotely while maintaining strong collaboration with the team.Kindly apply here also :
